The pavements are not perfect<\/p>\n

But every corner has a bustling market<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my city<\/p>\n

Music is in the hearts and air<\/p>\n

But many dreams are strapped on to the chair<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my city<\/p>\n

Traffic is chaotic and crazy<\/p>\n

And here some go hungry<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my city<\/p>\n

Movie stars rub shoulders with the common man<\/p>\n

But he is a “star” and this is eventually a “fan”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my city<\/p>\n

Anything can be found on sale on the streets<\/p>\n

But you need to be smart, no depth of cheats<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my city<\/p>\n

This vendor will sell his items by the end of the day<\/p>\n

Glad to have struck a deal in his own way<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my city<\/p>\n

There is so much to do<\/p>\n

But everything has a price, you pay your chew<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my city<\/p>\n

I feel safe wherever I go<\/p>\n

But there are alleys where you may get a blow<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my city<\/p>\n

The heat and humidity is at times unbearable<\/p>\n

But it is here that cold is some times another hurdle<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In my city<\/p>\n

The pavements may not be perfect<\/p>\n

But every road, lane, footpath and garden always does connect<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is NAIROBI… a city of dreams<\/p>\n
